Who we are

PokéStock NZ is an independent New Zealand service for finding English sealed Pokémon TCG products, comparing current retailer offers, following upcoming releases, and saving a small private product watchlist.

Information we collect

If you create or use a customer account, we receive your email address, authentication identifier, and basic profile information supplied by your chosen sign-in provider. We store the products you add to your private watchlist and the times those records are created or changed.

If you submit a community branch sighting, we collect the retailer, branch, general city or suburb, product, stock state, observation time, optional note, and a random browser-generated reporter token used for moderation and duplicate prevention. The form does not ask for your name, email address, or precise personal location.

Our hosting and authentication providers may process ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser details, request logs, and authentication session data.

How we use information

• To sign you in and keep your watchlist private.
• To save, display, and remove products from your watchlist.
• To moderate recent community stock sightings and limit abuse.
• To maintain, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.
• To comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests.

PokéStock NZ does not currently sell personal information, run paid memberships, or send customer stock-alert emails. If those features are introduced, this statement and the relevant consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.

Service providers and overseas processing

PokéStock NZ uses Supabase for customer authentication and database services, Google when you choose Google sign-in, and the site hosting platform to deliver the application. These providers may process information outside New Zealand under their own security and privacy terms. Retailer links open third-party websites whose privacy practices are controlled by those retailers.

Storage, security, and retention

Customer account and watchlist records are protected by database access controls intended to restrict each customer to their own saved products. Authentication uses necessary browser session storage so you can remain signed in. Community reports expire from the public feed after 48 hours, while moderation and operational records may be retained for security, integrity, and audit purposes.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above or required by law. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the current service.

Your choices and rights

You can sign out at any time and remove products from your watchlist. You may ask for access to, or correction of, personal information PokéStock NZ holds about you. Contact the email address above with enough information for us to verify and respond to your request.

You can delete your account yourself from the My Watchlist page while signed in. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your sign-in, profile, watchlist, and alert history are removed together and are not retained afterwards. Emails already delivered to your inbox remain with your email provider, and our delivery provider's transmission logs age out under its own retention schedule.

Changes to this statement

We may update this statement when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available at this URL.
