What is PokéStock NZ?
PokéStock NZ is an independent New Zealand stock and price comparison service for English sealed Pokémon TCG products. It helps shoppers find current retailer offers without selling the products itself.
Which products are included?
The public catalogue focuses on sealed English Pokémon TCG products such as booster packs and boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, collections, tins, decks, Build & Battle products, and trainer toolkits. Singles, slabs, accessories, and foreign-language products are excluded.
How are stock and prices checked?
PokéStock uses approved public retailer sources and records when each offer was checked. Only fresh, orderable offers appear in the main results. A failed or blocked check stays unknown; it is never treated as proof that stock exists.
What does NZ observed median mean?
It is the median of each qualifying retailer's lowest fresh price for the same product. It appears only when at least three independent retailers qualify. It is a current New Zealand comparison, not an official RRP or a licensed market valuation, and delivery is excluded.
Why can major-chain branch stock differ?
Kmart, The Warehouse, Farmers, JB Hi-Fi, Toyworld, and Whitcoulls may require shoppers to choose a branch on their own product page. PokéStock links to the narrowest reliable Pokémon card destination available, but does not claim exact branch stock unless branch-specific evidence was verified.
Do I need an account?
No. Stock search, prices, upcoming releases, and the play directory are public. An account is only needed for private watchlist features.
What does Google sign-in share?
Google sign-in is optional. PokéStock NZ receives the email address, authentication identifier, and basic profile information needed to create and secure the account. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google content.
Are stock alerts active?
Yes, inside your account. Save up to three products in My Watchlist and verified preorder, restock and price-limit changes appear there. Email delivery is a separate opt-in that is switched off until the PokéStock sender domain is connected, so alerts currently live in the account rather than your inbox.
Is PokéStock NZ affiliated with Pokémon or the retailers?
No. PokéStock NZ is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or the retailers listed.
How can I report an issue?
Email contact@pokestock.co.nz with the product, retailer, page link, and what appears incorrect. Stock can change quickly, so include the time you checked it.
